(from Google)Good food and friendly service, but unfriendly vibes from the regular clientele. I felt like an intruder in their midst.
Not sure what the deal is or why you’d be open without food after Christmas, but was given a rude “What are you guys looking for?” when we came in from a rainstorm only to have to leave back into it quite disappointed and miffed; restaurant service doesn’t open again until after New Year’s. I don’t know who’s sitting in a bar & “grille” the day after Christmas like it’s a dive bar, but hit the road and join this century and epoch. Ridiculous.
I came here for drinks with my coworkers and we had a great time. A very casual spot, this is the kind of bar that you can spend all night at. Wanda (who worked here) was an amazing bartender and so fun to talk to. Amazing service.
This park is great for small, private events. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked. There was a restaurant nearby and the mall was right across the street. There were plenty of trees for shade and benches to sit at.
Paella Night was catered by paellatime.com at $12. Dish was prepped on site in huge paella pans with fresh ingredients of shrimp (lots), mussel, chicken, asparagus, chorizo etc. I liked the fact the chef nicely cut and preprepared ingredients then skillfully cooked the dish in orderly fashion. I personally will keep him as a reference for paella catering! The SP outdoor dining area was airy and breezy. Very lorvely Friday evening to eat, drink, and hang out with my close friends.
