(from Google)Beautiful park with three lakes, fishing, easy flat hiking trails, open grassfields, and more. The only reason I didn't rate the whole five stars is because the restrooms were locked and not functioning. I was with a man in his '70s. People need restrooms sometimes and some more than others. Also, parking is somewhat limited in comparison to the size of the park.
Has restrooms- not a lot of parking great trails lots of wildlife. Lots of folks fishing for bass
Nice park, with fishing and trails around it.
Nice local place for a hike, a walk-around. My roommate likes to fish and I go with him sometimes. If you're lucky you'll see the beavers swimming around. Just off Hover. Great location. Not too crowded. Plenty of parking.
If you like the amount of nature and wildlife found in riparian areas then this is the place to start. Take a walk, ride a bike, bring your dog, catch some fish, or sit at a picnic table. Bathrooms right by the parking lot are convenient. Blue herons, pelicans, cormorants, and other shorebirds are abundant. If you're lucky you might see an osprey fishing in the ponds!
