We just had our first appointment with Dr. Burgin for our new puppy. He spent over 40 minutes talking with us and explaining everything. Never had a vet do that before! The staff is also wonderful! Facilities are super clean, but warm and inviting. They also had a cute valentines photograph backdrop in the front area. You just knew you were in the right place as soon as you walked in.

City Vet Murphy and Dr. Burgin have been outstanding. The care and attention my dogs have received have been exceptional, and Dr. Burgin consistently takes the time to explain treatment options clearly and thoughtfully. The staff is professional, compassionate, and trustworthy. I have complete confidence in their care and highly recommend City Vet Murphy to anyone looking for a reliable veterinarian.

I can’t say enough good things about the team at CityVet Murphy. From the very first pre-surgery visit for Kira’s spay, every single person was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They took the time to explain the entire process in detail and answered all of my questions thoroughly, which gave me so much peace of mind as a pet parent. On the day of the surgery, the staff made sure I felt informed and reassured, and it was clear how much they genuinely care about their patients. Kira was treated with so much love and professionalism, and her recovery went smoothly thanks to their excellent care and guidance. I went to CityVet in Murphy because the vet that I had in Preston Hollow moved her office to Murphy and I loved her so much I had to follow her! On this particular day, my little dog woke up with a limp so I called City Vet Murphy and asked to come see my regular vet, which is Dr. Burgin ( the wife) and they said that she was not working that day, but her husband was and he would be happy to see me. I was so happy because I was so worried about my little dog, so I jumped in the car and took him out to see Dr. Burgin ( the husband). He was just as fabulous as his wife. Both vets are so kind and caring and knowledgeable and patient they make you and your pet feel extremely comfortable. In this case, their staff was also wonderful… and that makes a huge difference since they are the first people you encounter. Everybody that works here is so warm and welcoming. they helped us immediately, and the doctor came in quickly to assess what was going on with my little dog. After I left, they sent me a quick text just to let me know that I can reach out to them anytime if I had any questions or concerns. They also followed up the next day just to check on Bobo! I absolutely love them. I’m so happy to have finally found a vet to take care of my precious Bobo! If you’re anywhere near Murphy, I highly suggest using this vets office for your pets needs. They are amazing and I have definitely seen a lot of vets!

I have chosen CityVet for veterinarian service for my dog since he was a year old. He is now seven and the wagging of his tail when we go in for his visits tells his story. The customer service is top notch, they know my dog’s name even when we pop in for a visit without an appointment. The vets and staff members are by far some of the kindest people I have interacted with over the last 25+ years of being a dog mom. I recently moved to the Lavon area and I was extremely delighted that a new location had just opened in Murphy. Our visit at the new location has been very satisfactory. It’s a clean and modern office. My pup had to have his annual check up and during our visit he had to have a tooth removed. The team was diligent in explaining the process and what to expect. They followed up post-op to see how he was doing and returned my call promptly when I had questions or concerns after he returned home. I make it a practice to do business based on referrals especially when it comes to my fur baby. I highly recommend visiting with Dr. Burgin and the team at CityVet Murphy for high quality care and exceptional customer service.
