Genuinely, I don’t know where to start. If you love your pet and want the best health for them, NEVER GO TO THIS BANFIELD PET HOSPITAL. Yes, their active care plans LOOK VERY promising and budget friendly but they will try to charge you with anything they can. Customer service here is absolutely horrendous. The rudeness and attitude from the front desk every time you call for something is unreal, if you have an issue they will instantly blame you and give you attitude. SOME VETS are actually very nice and look they really care, others seem eh 😐. Waiting a long time inside a waiting room and longer time when they take your pet, only to hear their cries and the laughing, and gossiping around the staff behind those doors that you can SEE THE SHADOWS how they move and the laughing behind those doors hearing animals meowing loud or dogs barking. While, waiting over 20 minutes just for them to back on “oops we ordered the wrong test but it won’t take long” another 20 minutes go by. Doing procedures even though you requested not to do them, or giving your pet a traumatizing experience visibly shaken, just for them to ignore it or never take accountability. I genuinely was excited to become a banfield customer but my first month bringing my pet here has been horrendous and how their active care plan works is cheaper for me to pay the full 12 months contract even though I’m planning to no longer take my pet here then canceling it cause it will be more expensive. This is ridiculous. Awful service and rude front desk staff. Please stay away, I genuinely started crying seeing how my pet’s behavior had changed since coming here.

I’ve been bringing my pup to Banfield Pet Hospital for over a year now, and overall I’ve had a really wonderful experience. The veterinarians here are truly phenomenal. They are incredibly informative, patient, and always willing to answer every question I have. As a very anxious dog parent, it means so much to never feel rushed during appointments. From the moment I first brought my puppy in, the vets have gone above and beyond to make sure both my pup and I feel comfortable and supported. Depending on the type of visit, whether it’s a wellness appointment or a drop-off visit, you may see a different veterinarian, but they have all been great nonetheless. Whenever I’ve done a drop-off appointment and returned to pick up my pup, I tend to ask a lot of questions about how everything went, and every vet I’ve spoken with has been patient, thorough, and happy to explain things in detail. Most of the staff members are also incredibly friendly and accommodating. They treat my pup like he’s their own, which is something I really appreciate. Every time we come in, the team greets him with big smiles and makes him feel welcome, which makes vet visits much less stressful for both of us. I also appreciate how thorough they are during exams. The vets take the time to explain what they’re doing, discuss preventative care, and make thoughtful recommendations without making you feel pressured. I will admit there is one staff member I’ve spoken with over the phone who has come across as a bit rude on a few occasions. I’m not sure who she is, but I recognize the voice. That said, I don’t let that overshadow the overall positive experiences I’ve had with the rest of the team. I would also recommend the wellness plan if it’s within your budget. I’ve had to bring my pup in quite a few times over the past year, and the plan has honestly been a big money saver and makes it easier to stay on top of preventative care. Overall, I feel confident bringing my pup here and trusting them with his care. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about your pet, Banfield has been a great choice for us.

We are changing vets and pet insurance it is truly that bad. First time we became a bit sketchy was when after his dental my dog kept passing out after they gave him too much anesthesia, which I note could kill him. After that we planned to get him a new insurance but before that could kick in he had a his wellness exam because it wasn't anything major they would need to do we decided that we might as well take him. Giant error I believe they stuck him with another dog because this truly is a business and not a vet and they want the most profit throwing out safety thru the window. And therefore my dog I believe was bit in the ass resulting in a abcess that was leaking puss, bleeding and had him a fit. I truly wish I had never brought him here and trusted them.

Please DO NOT bring your pet here. The care is horrible and it's like bringing your pet to a trial facility. The vets are always different and never last more than a few months. The staff lacks basic customer service skills and common sense. Constantly issued the wrong medication, takes days to get fixed. But when it's time to pay they make sure they are on point charging you every little dime they could. I'm sorry but bringing a pet to the vet is already a stressful situation and this place does nothing to help the situation. It's so bad i have seen animals being taken out in boxes by there pet owners to have private autopsy's done when there loved pet dies at there hands . That should tell you all you need to know. There animal plan is a scam becasue they still find ways to charge you for anything. The best is when your pet dies they still charge you the plan for a year after becasue they claim you used the plan to bring the pet in like come on. After 10 plus years with them starting from petsmart I honestly say it's time to go. They don't have that passionate care anymore and are more worried about filling there pockets then the actual care for your pets.

We went to banfield Stamford to get an answer about why my dog is peeing so much all the time and crying all of the sudden from a couple day . We specifically explained all the situation and what the first vet we took him have told us everything pointing to cancer or something wrong from his hips and down . So we went here telling all of this , they did “EXAMS” and then called us the next day saying everything looks good . WHAT ?? How is everything good if the dog is in pain and peeing every time of the day???? It doesn’t make sense , then after that they said they want to do another type of exams to know what’s going on , ISNT THAT WHAT WE HAVE ASKED IN THE FIRST PLACE ??? We have spent already in the exam that was supposed to show what’s wrong with our dog and we didn’t even get a clear answer . We have called again to see what can be done , and they have said they don’t know why they did that exam in the first place . So we basically spent money for an exam that wasn’t even going to show anything . What a waste of money and time ! Is like going for a leg pain and they end up doing an exam for your eyes . We are not coming back to this place .
