The staff at Arcadia Pets were incredibly helpful and truly knowledgeable when it came to getting my fish tank set up. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident about maintaining the tank the right way. What really sets this store apart is that it’s a small, family-owned mom-and-pop shop—not a big corporate chain. You can genuinely feel that they care about their customers and the animals they sell. The experience felt personal, honest, and welcoming from start to finish. If you’re looking for expert advice, quality products, and to support a local business that treats you like family, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Arcadia Pets to anyone in the area.

I don't live in Staten Island but my dentist is close by. I always drive past this shopping center. I stop in for aquarium fish and supplies. Very clean and neat store. A large variety of fish, food, and tank decos. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

My go to local aquarium store. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I buy a fish they last and easily adjust to my aquarium. My first fish were a pair of Bolivian rams, they were very dull at first but after a month there color became eye popping.

I got my miniature schnauzer at Arcadia and cannot thank them enough for giving me my best friend. Cynthia was amazing with answering any questions I had and to this day still keeps in touch to see how Homer is doing. I recently had someone stop me on the street during our walk and ask about my dog and sent him to Arcadia where he ended up getting one of his own. Can’t thank them enough for all they have done for me and highly recommend them!
