(from Google)The appetizers came out extremely fast and the pizza was soon after. The waitress checked on us multiple times we will definitely be coming back. Oh and the Hot Honey pizza was delicious.
First off. Great looking place and great service! I ordered the 5 cheese pizza. They have a great wood fire oven! So I was truly looking forward to this! I asked for it to be cooked a little extra. I like my pizza thin, crispy and loaded with cheese! It arrived quickly. Had a little char around the edges. So I was excited! That lasted until the 1st bite. Chewy crust, very lightly cheesed, and basically flavorless!! I was soooo disappointed!! The crust flopped all the way to the outer edge when I picked it up. Only thing crispy at all was the edges. Bland flavor doesn't even begin to describe this pizza. Only flavor it really had was the sauce, which was nothing special either. I hated seeing so much potential wasted!! At 23$ for a 16" cheese pizza. I definitely will not be returning! And I did mention my disapointment to my waitress.she apologized. But that was the end of it.
The place is pretty nice. However, all the beer on tap was flat and old tasting. The bar maid kept letting me sample beers, but they were all painfully flat. Was not ready to give up because they have wood fired pizza oven. Ordered a 2 topping pizza. I am sorry, but it was terrible. I ate of course and did not complain. This place has the potential to be really great. They just need better pizza dough and better sauce on the pizza. The dough was tasteless and the sauce was too bland. All that said, the service was pretty good.
My husband and I stopped while on a trip and ordered a Peperoni pizza and a Large Buffalo Chicken Salad on Door Dash. When we finally got our food the Pizza had so much garlic that we thought the sauce was an aoli instead of regular pizza sauce...yuck!! The salad was just mixed greens with a little bit of chicken for $23...fo just the Salad! What a waste of money. We will Not be ordering form here again.
We were looking forward to dining at Millstone Pizza and Taproom so we decided to give it a try. The place has a great atmosphere and the service was excellent. That is the end of the positive comments! The pizza was tasteless, limp and we have had Hunts Brothers pizza that we enjoyed much more. My wife commented that 'worst pizza I have ever had'! We ordered our pizza with bacon and my dog could not have found it. It was awful! The Kolsch was o.k. but we were there to eat Sadly, you've been warned!
