(from Google)We stayed a week in Aguadilla and wanted to do a fun hike in the area. I would highly recommend the hike to Survival beach. Easy parking and easy to find the trail. Some of the reviews call this hike easy. I would definitely call this a moderate hike. It does not have much elevation change but it is not an easy hike. It is beautiful and rewarding though and a must do!
Absolutely beautiful beach! The hike to get to it is intense but so worth it. There are no public restrooms or amenities so come prepared. The sand is so soft, there are some shallow sections of water that are great for kids to wade around in. We found endless shells and sea glass. We were there at high tide so we didn’t get to enjoy the huge rock pass-throughs but it was still worth it. 10/10 recommend.
You definitely earn 😏 your survival beach legs with this trip. I suggest when you get to the first path to the water walk the rocks. Be careful 🧐, but it alot easier than walking the trail.
Very difficult hike but the views at the end are worth it! We arrived early in the morning to try and beat the heat, but the humidity still made the hike much harder. Definitely recommend hiking boots and plenty of water. There was a lot of free parking and cool to watch the surfers catching the morning waves. Saw many hermit crabs and lizards on the trail.
Pretty challenging hike alongside Cliff through jungle path to reach secluded beach... It was pretty challenging for me and my wife being that we came from Montana and decided to tackle this trail, which we've been thinking about for a long time now. It was a great experience to reach a secluded Beach. That is so beautiful but The tide can be very strong so you're initial instinct is to get into the water but don't let it fool you. The current is strong. Nice little pool alongside the edge of the beach where you can relax and have the waves crash into you with the warm water. The hike back seemed a little shorter, but the all in all experience was incredible and beautiful...
