Nice park in the middle of the state. Great ORV park, lots of trails to ride with your dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and side by sides. Good fishing spots, kayak and canoe rentals, even paddling trails. Swimming area, hiking and mountain bike trails. Campground with basic and sites with electric.

Great place to ride. Most trails are easy some trails are challenging. Must have flag, helmet. You have to buy a day pass but is not expensive at all. There is fishing available you can rent a boat if you want.Camping is available. There is a decent motorcycle track.

Review of the campground. This place is not large RV friendly. Lots of tight turns and low hanging branches. Impossible to drive through without scraping trees. Most sites are not level at all. Bathrooms are no where close to the primarily tent sites (no hookup sites). Place needs to be on the list of MO state parks to be redone. Would also be nice if there were a couple trails reserved for hiking/walking. Obviously plenty of ORV trails, but they were all a muddy mess.

We stopped in on Labor Day weekend, so you know it was busy, but they still had kayaks available. The water was a little stagnant but still a lovely paddle! The checkout system of kayaks was really easy too, they have them in lockers that you access and lock back up yourself right there at the beach. And you can’t beat the price!

Havent been here in 20 years. I have to say they have done a great job with the park. Lots of new improvements and added amenities to the entire park. The trails were great. Everything from fast and fun, to technical and challenging, and of course if you want mud you can find it easy enough. The motocross track hadn't been prepped in a while, but was still rideable, and the jump faces were all pretty good. We will be bringing our boys again for sure.
