Nice place to be, very active a lot of different sports activities going on. Good parking and a very open space and I felt safe the entire time hiking and walking alone around the park
Darden Towe Park within the Rivana Whitewater area was a great put in for the kayak trip. I visited from out of state, but found the locals really enjoy this area to park and play. Not to busy but used readily and steadily by those familiar with the area. I was introduced by local kayaker.
