(from Google)I had the single Lonnie Burger without American cheese. It has bbq sauce, 1 smashed patty, grilled onions and bacon. The bacon was exceptional and I eat a lot of burgers. They absorbed heretic brewing which is still one of my favorite memories and bottle openers. The area is spacious and tables a beautiful. Food was so fast! I had 2 different beers on hazy and one crisp and clean both awesome 👍
I am not even a drinker and I often daydream of the tangerine tornado which the most delicious beer I’ve ever tasted. All the beers, stouts and even their margarita on tap is absolutely fantastic! Friendly people, delicious affordable food, fast service, dog friendly… this is big cool oasis on super hot days out here, with THE BEST FRIES EVER. I’m new to the area and this place is a weekly(sometimes more) stop for us. A hidden treasure.
Brewery with really good pizza located in Fairfield, CA just outside of Travis Air Force base. They have indoor and some outdoor seating and they project sports games too. People rave about their pizzas which are so good fresh and they also have a full bar here too, not just beer, wine, and cider. I was pretty surprised that they had a full bar which means they have some really good cocktails too! Service is great and all of the workers are very knowledgeable. You can order takeout too. Great spot for get together for the entire family. Parking can get kind of tight, there are some lots and street parking.
Great place to eat and have beer. Open seating and you order everything at the bar. Staff is great and food came out in a timely manner. I’m a stout/porter person so my go to is the Chocolate Hazelnut Porter. For food, we had the Lonnie Cheeseburger with fries and Buffalo Wings. Food was good. They have pizzas which we plan to try next time.
We do love Heretic just not the new menu. This review is mainly the new menu cause everything else is still awesome. The staff are all wonderful!! It is still incredibly hot inside but we weren't melting. The poor man a few tabes over was though. Back to the new menu. It's just alright. It is smaller as to not "overwhelm the customers with too many choices". However doing so they got rid of some great items. The food is nothing to make a special trip to Heretic for. You go for the beer and the food is just convenient to have while there. Our first complaint is there is NO Kids Menu, like not at all. Their reasoning is they don't want to "overwhelm customers with too many options". We were told they are not planning on adding one, instead they are planning on adding cheese pizza and they said the burgers are smaller now, so the kids can choose between a $20 pizza or a burger, they think that's enough of a choice for children. I will say for some maybe, but no, not for most. Also there is not a plain cheese pizza (I just guesstimated what a price for it would be) on the menu and there are no plain burgers. Most kids won't want caramelized onions and magic sauce on their burger. Our kids love the mini corndogs and would get excited when we would go to Heretic because they wanted them, sadly they are no more. As stated above they told us the burgers are smaller. The menu doesn't say how big they are or what kind of bun it comes on, no sides listed (again the reasoning is they don't want to "overwhelm the customers". Unfortunately it make it so much harder for the employees because now they have to answer many questions about each item to every patron that orders food, instead of them just reading it on a menu and being "overwhelmed") and it only lists American cheese on all the burgers except the wicked, that one has pepper jack. So are there no longer options? They used to have cheddar and provolone. My guess is they don't want to overwhelm us with too many cheese choices. They got rid of the buffalo chicken wrap which was my favorite. They added pizza to the menu. We got a pepperoni and an outside voice. They were alright. Our daughter got the new fried chicken sandwich. It looked delicious however she said the bun was soggy and the chicken was bland. She liked the honey-jalapeño slaw but not on the sandwich she thought it would taste much better on tacos though. They got rid of so many of our favorites and we are sad about this change. They no longer have: chicken strips, nachos, bang bang shrimp tacos, birria tacos, the chicken wraps (grilled and buffalo) sweet potato fries, mini corndogs, grilled cheese or churros They do have as a side to burgers, but not listed on the menu, fries and tots. So yeah we are not excited about this new change but the beer is good!
