(from Google)This park is huge! It was my first time here. I saw a couple of places to eat. Bathrooms , a lake, very walkable for families and I saw lots of people with their pets. Also birthday parties going on.
Easily the best park in Huntington Beach. Better parking than the library, more varied sights and great photo opportunities, more open space, and better bench locations that are geared to places with shade so that you dont have to deep fry under the sun when you want to sit down. It also has a bomb playground and a way to access a botanical garden and walk a path that takes you around the equestrian area. And the restrooms are nice too.
This park has it all. It is one of the largest community parks I’ve ever visited. Almost as big if not bigger than a golf course. It’s so big that I spent an hour walking in just one half of the whole park without repeating any steps. Lots of ducks and other small animals. Not too crowded on a Friday afternoon. Provides plenty of armenities. A must visit if you prefer to go out with nature.
It's a nice, large park to walk or bike in and see some nature. A little oasis amidst the concrete and strip malls of Huntington Beach.
Such a beautiful park. There have been sightings of a bald eagle that lives here. Secret garden behind the library is beautiful. As is the urban forest. Play ground by Kathy Mays is a must if you have kids.
