Wagbar Knox

WagBar is one of my favorite dog parks in Knoxville! The owners are incredibly friendly, the staff is always welcoming, and their dogs are adorable. My dog loves WagBar because it has a relaxed atmosphere. Some dogs run and play, while others simply lounge around and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a great environment for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. One of the best features is the setup of the park itself. There are several shaded and covered areas, making it a great place to visit even on hot or rainy days. The indoor space and gazebo both have fans, so there’s usually a comfortable spot to relax while your dog plays. The parking lot is also huge and rarely fills up, which makes visits easy and stress-free. The drinks are fantastic, and there’s free Wi-Fi, plenty of TVs, and a great music playlist. Tap Tuesday and Trivia Wednesday are always a lot of fun, and there’s often a food truck or local vendor on-site, which adds even more to the experience. The monthly membership is absolutely worth it. At $40 per month, it quickly pays for itself when day passes are $10 (and humans get in free!). I’m getting ready to move out of Knoxville, and one of the things I’ll miss most is WagBar. If you have a dog and are looking for a fun, friendly place to spend an afternoon, I highly recommend checking it out!

Zero’s favorite place to be is Wagbar Knox! There are a lot of regulars he is friends with as well as new dogs and people who come in regularly. It is a great atmosphere and the owners and staff are great and really enjoy what they do. They have plenty of TVs, it’s a great place to catch the games. There are indoor and outdoor spaces for your dog to roam off-leash while you enjoy the company of other dog lovers and drinks. Bring your dog to check it out!

WagBar is the best new addition to Karns! The owners are absolutely wonderful—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The staff is exceptionally well trained and incredibly attentive to the dogs. They truly prioritize safe play, as well as the overall health and wellness of every pup. My dog is like my baby, so knowing she’s in a safe, well-supervised environment means everything to me. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained. It’s such a fun place to let your dog play while you relax, watch a game, and enjoy a drink. Even in cold or rainy weather, it’s still fantastic thanks to the fully heated and covered indoor area. They regularly partner with local food trucks and caterers, so there are always delicious snack options. Plus, they offer games, puzzles, pool tables, and a great selection of beer, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages—there’s truly something for everyone. We’re proud founding members and couldn’t be happier. Reese absolutely loves WagBar, and so do we! 🐾

WagBar is my dogs' happy place! They have indoor/outdoor seating, fire pits, a pool, and a sand pit. The staff is fantastic. They are attentive and handle any dog squabbles, which makes it way more relaxing than a regular dog park. Great community, fun events, and friendly people (and their adorable dogs!). My pups give me the sad eyes if we skip a visit. Plus, the 18+ policy creates a more relaxed and responsible environment. Highly recommend WagBar! 🐾❤️

Lovely, large area for your dogs and you to enjoy the day! Lots of TVs to catch the latest game, pool table, and fire pits to keep warm with. Awesome staff, very attentive. Great drinks! Nice mulch and pool area for the dogs as well as a fabulous sand pit to get your “dig” on. Highly recommended, and we will be back!!
