Mariah Dog Training

Mariah is a great trainer who always had good advice. She knows dogs well. Dizzy is almost a year and a great addition to our family with Mariah’s help. It was easy to schedule training sessions. Mariah would come to our house and Dizzy’s day care to pick her up for sessions. She is a very good communicator.

We’ve been working with Mariah for more than a month now, and the experience has been wonderful. From the very beginning, she took the time to really listen to our concerns and goals for our dog and created a thoughtful, personalized plan that felt completely aligned with our values. We’ve appreciated how organized and communicative she’s been — always on schedule, responsive, and genuinely invested in our progress. What stands out most is her calm, positive, force-free approach. It’s been exciting to see our puppy respond to kindness, consistency, and understanding rather than pressure or confrontation. We feel supported, heard, and empowered every step of the way, and it truly feels like a partnership. We’re already seeing progress and feel confident we’re on the right path thanks to her guidance. We can’t recommend Mariah enough to anyone looking for a compassionate, effective trainer who truly cares about both dogs and their people.

Mariah took such great care and attention to all the little and big problem areas when training my dog. She has a set schedule when coming over to my house, picking up my dog and dropping off my dog. The communication was great. I loved seeing the videos of my dog out on public training that was a nice thing to receive.

Working with Mariah has been great for our family and Gumbo. We were struggling with some stressful and frustrating behavioral issues. From our very first consultation, Mariah listened to our concerns and created a thoughtful, personalized training plan that was tailored to our goals. It’s been amazing to see how quickly Gumbo has responded to the training and to positive reinforcement. He's so much better now and rarely nips, and his counter-surfing and leash-pulling are practically non-existent. Mariah has been an incredible partner on this journey, checking in with us regularly and making sure we stay on schedule. It feels great to have a knowledgeable and supportive training partner who is genuinely here for us and our dog. We feel so much more empowered and confident in our ability to communicate with Gumbo.

Our 4 month old Aussiedoodle Ollie participated in Mariah’s Brilliant Puppy School and I couldn’t recommend it enough. He was picked up and dropped off 2x per week for 4 weeks and he had an absolute blast. He learned a lot during the 4 weeks (i.e. leash walking skills, basic commands, socialization, walking in public, etc.). Every day he came home completely happy and absolutely wiped out. Mariah and her team provided daily report cards, pictures, and weekly video compilations. She even hosted multiple Zoom Q&A sessions. Again, we absolutely recommend Mariah’s Brilliant Puppy School and can’t wait to schedule her complimentary follow-up in-home training session!! Thank you Mariah!
