Redhawk Community Park

I enjoy this park, but I’m increasingly concerned about the number of large‑dog owners who walk their dogs outside the dog park without leashes. This is a public space with a children’s play area, basketball courts, soccer fields, and a walking path used by families, seniors, and people with small pets. Many of these dogs have zero recall, and their owners seem overly confident that “my dog would never.” I’ve personally had leashed walks turn into dangerous situations when someone’s off‑leash dog ran up or became aggressive, even coming out of their own garage, now once attacked the owners response is usually something like “they’ve never done that before”. Dogs are animals, not robots. All it takes is one moment for someone to get hurt. I’m asking the community to respect leash laws and remember that shared spaces require shared responsibility.

Has a great dogpark, has 3 sections, 1 for small dogs and another for large. The 3rd is one they interchange to ensure there’s always grass! So smart! It’s large, well maintained and has everything needed. The playground is nice and they just renovated it not too long ago. Overall a great park!

really nice park ! there are 2 dog parks here . 1 small and 1 large . they are well maintained and there is a drinking fountain for your dogs . some of the parks may be closed off since they do rotate locations to give the grass a break in the park . there is a small parking lot so make sure you get there early on nice days . tons of green space with picnic tables for a picnic !

This is our favorite local dog park! Usually lots of pups running around, but it’s spacious enough for everyone. Good amount of grass for a dog park and plenty of trees for shade. There are separate areas for small dogs and all very well secured. They even have a bag of tennis balls to toss around! Even the surrounding views of mountains is very lovely and serene, particularly around sunset. There are some people who bring their small children into the park - which I don’t have a problem with but you should not be upset when dogs go up to them in the off-leash park. There is a playground about 100ft away, aggressively shoving dogs away from your children is not a safe practice. Other than that, this park is the perfect place to bring your pets!

This place is really awesome. pretty chill and relaxed. Separated by large and small dogs. Water faucets available for water bowl fillings. Plenty of shade but make sure you don't throw your dog's frisbee into the trees. Doggo may be disappointed if that happens.
