Not really much to this park. No bathrooms or playground that I could find. Really just a hiking trail along a creek. It is a nice place to launch a kayak or canoe into the creek if that is your thing. The fishing is not great, but there are some small fish. Most of the creek is fairly shallow, and chances of snagging are pretty high. Only good for very patient, and skilled anglers who don't mind catching fish that are all under a pound and a half. Nice clean place to go for a walk on the hiking trail though. Easy trail BTW

This park is great if you like dirt trails. You can walk, ride bikes, run and bring your dogs to play.

The park is just off a main road with a small parking lot but that's fine because I don't think many people go. There is a wide open green space with a small boat launch ramp. I like that it was quiet, but there just isn't much there. Not many flowers, squirrels or birds. If you want a quiet place to sit and look at grass with some water nearby then this park is adequate.

Just beyond a thin strip of trees is desolation now. It still has a nice shady parking area and there's a canoe launch. There is also a trail that passes under a bridge and runs along the creek bordering Frankie Carter. It's a nice trail and I'll be back to finish exploring it, but I don't think it's part of the park.

They have done a great job of creating a path to the waters edge. Decent kayak/canoe launch...a little steep though. Took the 10yr old out for an evening paddle on the creek and he loved it. 1 gator, 2 gar, a turtle..and NO people.
