(from Google)Great park for a perfect walk in the woods. Perfectly located almost in the middle of the city, but walking here gives you a sense of silent and relaxation. Fairly large parking lot and wide paths.
Nice walking path through the forest. Tall trees give shade on hot days, and the trail is not so long, so you can hike through in 30 mins or less. There are no restrooms, thought. Otherwise, this is a pleasant place for a walk through the woods.
It's just a trail through the forest but it's very pleasant and my dog is well behaved and won't travel far from me so he gets taken off the leash to run in the forest it's great. The trail is mostly just a circle so you don't have to worry about making a wrong turn back. It has a nice little creek that runs through it. They do need to put some gravel down on parts of the path at least it gets muddy sometimes and a few places to sit and watch nature. All and all it's a nice trail that's pretty quiet.
We really enjoyed this short but nicely maintained trail. The spring wildflowers were a gorgeous addition. Nice size for a little hike with young children and several points of interest -fallen trees to climb on, entry points to creek. Very peaceful.
This is a nice place to get away for a small dose of nature and go on a dog walk or little hike when the weather is nice. The feeling of being in nature is great compared to most hiking spots around here but it would get pretty repetitive if you're trying to cover a mile or any sufficiently long distance.
