(from Google)The dog park is fun for the puppies gets crowded every once in a while but earlier in the afternoon the park is pretty empty .all the dogs there have been very good no fights when I've been there and I go 8-10;times a week so I'm there a lot with my pup.
Very happy they turned this old baseball field into a place for my dog to sniff other dog’s butts
Really relaxing. Place to go to meditate
This dog park is a nice little haven. We take the dogs there every weekday at lunch for ~15 minutes. Everyone here that we've encountered is friendly and respectful. Everyone's dogs are well behaved (which is unusual, I feel like most dog parks have at least a dog or 2 that probably are not the best candidates for hanging at a dog park). Everyone also picks up their dog's poop; haven't seen anyone not picking it up. Also, at the west entrance, there are dog poop bags available-attached to the fence and a large trash can. The East entrance also has a large trashcan for disposing of poop. Great view of Mountains from this park. I would give it 5 stars, but, just outside the fenced in dog area there are some curious characters that hang around in the parking lot and surrounding area at all times of day. Now, important to note that none of these folks have ever bothered us or the dogs at all. However, if being around disheveled folks who are mostly on something bothers you then you might to skip this park. That said, we do love it and our dogs do too.
Beautiful space with priceless displays of artwork. Maintained landscape and a view of Colorado Rockies where there sunrise is equally stunning to the sunsets just two blocks east of Lamar station ( lightrail). This park has a quaint farmers market too & on Thursdays from 2-5 at the main entrance on the north side of mountaineer park the market sells there products hand grown at rock bottom prices. Don't miss out come visit your dog will love you more if you bring them along it's pet friendly, there's a nice surprise at the bottom of the hill...
