GoDog Research Triangle Park (RTP)

This place is amazing! I love that they offer day boarding for my not so social little guy. On their first day, the team set up a cute welcome chalk board for them and their camera setup is pretty nice for daycare. I get cute little report cards for my day boarded baby with pictures of him playing. I'm glad I found this place and will continue bringing my pups here!

GoDog is the best dog boarding company. My family and I planed a trip for the holidays and this was our very first time away from Buddy for 7 days. This first time experience was amazing. The employees made it better for us when we left Buddy with them. They let us know how he was doing and I really loved the daily pictures and emails. I really want to give a big shout out to the employee that had answered the phone and helped us check him in. She was so sweet and helpful. GoDog is the best🤩🤩

We had a vacation planned and we usually board our dogs, Duke and Daisy, at the vet. We had to make other arrangements because they no longer offer boarding. Go Dog came highly recommended by friends. Calling in advance we booked a 9 day stay with a groom, etc.. My husband and I were so impressed with the professional, yet friendly treatment we received. There were workers buzzing all over the place to play with the dogs and make them feel loved. We left feeling quite confident. When we picked them up, they were very happy and beautiful from grooming. All of the employees spoke to them on our way out with one young lady saying she was actually sad we were taking them home. We are so happy to have a local pet resort so close to home.

They are the absolute best. The team is caring, kind, thoughtful, and professional. They really love the dogs and the facility is clean and well kept. It’s easy to sign up for nail trim or bath at daycare, and there are so many options for boarding to make you and your pet comfortable. They’re not cheap, but comparable. I only wish they allowed me to bring my dog for daycare after 10am, but it’s okay, they’re still wonderful and I’m so happy to have a place I can truly rely on!

I entrusted my long-haired Shih Tzu to GoDog for my travel, expecting her to be well-cared. Upon dropping her off, I was reassured that she was brushed thoroughly, leaving no mattes in her coat. However, when I picked her up after 16 days, I was shocked to discover mattes on her ears, extending down to her skin, and on all four legs. These mattes were severe and appeared to have been neglected for some time. Additionally, I noticed that she had dark green mucus in her eyes, which was concerning and indicated a lack of proper attention to her health and grooming needs. Surprisingly, no staff member took the initiative to brush my dog before the mattes became so severe. Moreover, they failed to inform me about her grooming needs or the condition of her coat before I arrived to pick her up. This oversight and lack of communication were disappointing and raised serious concerns about the standard of care they provided. The level of neglect and lack of attention to detail was utterly unacceptable, leaving me feeling frustrated and concerned for my pet’s well-being. As a result I needed to have an emergency grooming appointment for my dog scheduled to be shaved. After speaking with the manager about my concerns, she was apologetic, but it was frustrating to also hear that she was familiar with my dog and yet still failed to make any changes to ensure proper care.
