(from Google)Great beach for chilling out, water is nice and you have some places around to buy food as well as good parking.
Good parking. Many areas set up to grill out. Inlet and water reminded me more of a bay- industrial plant nearby distracts your eye from the view- other beach down the road was prettier but definitely more crowded.
It looks like there are reviews for 2 different spots here. The one I'm talking about is the natural wave pool, which is to the right slightly of the longer beach. The wave pool is so much fun. Local vibe, not super packed, and if those waves are big, get ready for the most fun time of your life in that wave pool. The wave will break and spray up into the air, fun for kids to just watch. Loved every minute of this little gem of a beach. Bring an umbrella!
This place is amazing. It's like a natural wave pool. Views are spectacular. Super calm and pretty local vibe. A few palm trees to sit under but def. Bring umbrella just in case since the sun can get intense. Perfect spot for older kids, little ones too but need to stay close since can get a bit deep fast for them if you go to far, especially when the waves come. If you come on the weekends, in the entrance they have some delicious local food. Fried fritters like alcapurrias, etc. Yellow rice with crab meat, cold coconuts, pins colada, just a really nice mix of realy good and authentic local food. First came here as a child, never forgot it, and coming back 20 years later still brings me joy and now also joy to my kids. ;) Tip* getting to the best spot is a bit hidden. Drive towards the light house and cut right. Go down the road to find the REAL spot lol
Great place for fishing. Easy and accesible and a very well kept boat ramp.
