Ramella's Canine Academy

Ramella’s training has done wonders for us as a family. She presented us with practical solutions for everything we were having issues with. We’re excited to have the opportunity to give our pup the best life possible with the methods Ramella taught us.

I am so grateful for Ramella, she has significantly improved our quality of life and my dog absolutely loves her. Ramella is not just a kind and non-aversive dog trainer, she’s a dog interpreter who is literally always available for helpful tips and advice. Dogs want to be heard and understood like the rest of us and Ramella truly helps us tend to their needs, while communicating our own back to them. Ramella's Canine Academy is an exceptional establishment for dog training and development. I have 2 Cavaliers (Luna- 15 months old and Zivah 9 months) both with totally different temperaments. With Ramella’s extensive knowledge and expertise in canine behavior, she provides top-notch training programs for my dogs especially for Zivah, who suffers from anxiety. Ramella was able to advise on how to work with the different temperaments and created a customized training program specifically tailored to address my dog's anxiety issues. What sets Ramella apart is her compassionate, patient and follow through approach to training. She took the time to get to know my dogs and understands the root causes of Zivah’s anxiety. She provided me with the tools and techniques to manage Zivah’s anxiety while also taking into account Luna’s calm temperament. It’s been 2 weeks and I have seen a significant improvement in Zivah’s overall temperament, demeanor and behavior already! Ramella and I have weekly check-ins to ensure the girls are on track and if there are any adjustments to be made with their training program. I cannot recommend Ramella's Canine Academy enough for anyone dealing with dogs with different temperaments or any dog who’s suffers from anxiety. Her expertise, understanding, and dedication to helping dogs overcome anxiety make her the perfect choice for acquiring her dog training services . As so many others have done, I adopted a dog during quarantine. Heart worm positive upon adoption, he was placed on strict crate rest during his treatment. Having to keep a hyperactive dog calm for four months was no easy task and so I immediately sought help to reinforce positive habits and help my dog better acclimate to living in the city. Ramella came to my apartment and introduced me to several types of training techniques. She kept every option available as she talked with me about what I would be comfortable with and I never felt rushed in the process. She was a clear communicator and made me feel reassured throughout the process. My dog loved her right away upon first impression and had a very positive experience. He used to be very reactive on the leash and pulled me whenever we went out for walks to the point that I dreaded at times needing to take him outside. But working with Ramella has given me (and my dog!) confidence when we are out and about. To my friends, I have described Ramella as a dog whisperer. I have had a wonderful experience and I would recommend her to anyone!

Ramella came to my home and worked with me and my miniature pinscher Monty. I realized the biggest issue with my dog was me! She helped me figure out how I can do better so that he will behave better. She individualized what we needed and it wasn’t a one size fits all type of approach. She knew my breed of dog was anxious, nervous and had lots of energy. Now I know how to channel it and he seems so much calmer and happier. I also feel much more confident in what I’m doing with him.
