(from Google)It was close to my place, so I went there every day. Every time I went, I couldn’t believe it was a lake — it was insane. The waves were gentle, so it was the perfect beach for swimming.
Seemed very odd to stumble upon a beach in Chicago but here we are! Obviously it's not the nicest or biggest beach in America but I can see people enjoying it in warmer weather and early in the day.
The beach is located beside Milton Lee Olive Park, nice place to go while on summer vacation, a place to relax , picnic, walk and jog around with family and friends it’s near Navy Pier, so many great activities within and outside the park/ Beach 🏖️ area with some stunning views 🥰💯👌
One of my favorite places especially in early AM. Walking, running, biking traffic picks up as the sun rises, even then we love going on walks when time allows. Highly recommend for anyone out of town, as mentioned the earlier the better you can really soak in the sun rise and ambiance.
Ohio Street Beach is such a fun spot and has a great atmosphere. Even when it’s crowded, there’s still plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the day. The view of the skyline is gorgeous, and it really adds to the whole experience of being by the water. There are lifeguards on duty, restrooms up front for changing, and even ice cream available if you’re craving a treat. The vibe was amazing — people soaking up the sun, playing music, and just enjoying summer to the fullest. It’s the perfect place to relax, get a tan, and take in both the lake and the city views.
