(from Google)Wow! Went there for "Kitty asthma" yes it's true have inhaler and everything! So far so good on the Prednisone capsules. Very personable, the whole staff! They told us our options, before anything. Can you say "i love animals more than people" 🤣 only have one pic of Truman (?) but the others are of Chip and Dale (gray one,the movie star-on news had swallowed a baited fish left out and couldn't afford the surgery🙄) got at separates times and just love each other like peas and carrots!
San Antonio Animal Hospital's Entire Staff are amazing. From the time you walk in, you know they love their animals. Dr. Neves is The Best! They answer all questions and are just down right Good People! I love that they always work to find good homes for animals in need.
We are very happy with San Antonio Vet. We called to get our cat in and it wasn’t an emergency but they got us in the next day.The veterinarian that we saw was amazing. We sent over the records from the urgent we had previously been too and the records from our previous vet in NY. We told him what was going on, he told us what he was going to do with Puss in Boots. He gave him a check up, he said he wanted to run some blood work, gave us a bit of a grim outlook but he has a positive outlook regardless. We just love how caring he is. He is honest, but kind. He wants the best, he wants the best outcome, but you have to ask for the realistic outcome. We just feel completely taken care of. We do not feel pressured one way or the other, we love the positivity. They are a wonderful facility
So impressed with San Antonio Animal Hospital. From the front desk on it was a wonderful experience. Buttons was in great hands. Will definitely recommend them to all.
This vet was recommended to me by someone (who now through experiences is considering switching vets). Starting with my dog, he rarely needs vet services but he’s a big dog, 12 years old, so I wanted to have him established somewhere incase he started having issues. I only went to this vet twice and both times the veterinarian made me feel guilty for not wanting to put my dog on pain meds. I don’t believe he needs pain meds and the vet doesn’t even know if he’s in pain or not, yet made me feel guilty. He has some issues walking cause he’s old but that’s about it. So she made me feel like a bad dog mom which I am not. Secondly, my sister took her 13yr old dog here because she had a crusty nose and wasn’t eating. The vet did blood work and said she was fine but then less than a week later her nose got worse, started bleeding from her nose and a couple days later the dog died. Which naturally makes me concerned for my old dog that they say was also fine. Anyways, if someone has had a great experience here then great for them but this is what we experienced and will likely be switching just in case.
