(from Google)We went to the park while the snow was still there and the new playground is great! We had fun even snow covered. I noticed the huge rocks that were randomly within the playground, which seems like a safety hazard especially when these kids go full speed. There was still snow covering mostly all of it so maybe I didn’t see safety precautions to prevent a kid from falling into them.
My favorite park! Love how it was thoughtfully designed throughout the years. Absolutely beautiful mature trees and stunning ruins great for photoshoots. Picnic areas, trails, river, there is always something going on all year long 🙂 Can’t wait for the playground to open on November 2nd.
Very enjoyable experiences here. Nice wooded trails to get away from hectic day to day and just relax. The ruins are an unexpected but welcome addition to a well kept park.
Absolutely a peaceful and beautiful place to sit and read or go for a walk. Fountain is gorgeous as well are the ruins with a water feature as well.
This park feels like a hidden gem. The grounds are so thoughtfully cared for, every corner inviting you to slow down and breathe. The ruins stand beautifully against the landscape—quiet, timeless, and full of character. Though I didn’t walk the trail this time, it calls me back for another visit. The peaceful atmosphere, paired with the joy of being able to bring my dog along, made the experience even more special. Truly an amazing place to escape and just be.
