We were in Cary for the night and saw the great reviews for this place, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience started off rocky with our server, Sam, who was rude from the beginning. He told us the outdoor heaters were broken and not working. However, shortly after we were seated, another group arrived and suddenly the heater was turned on for them. We were also seated at a dirty table. When we asked if we could get a rag, to hint at the table being dirty, he simply threw us a rag instead of cleaning it himself. His overall service felt dismissive and unprofessional. When we mentioned that our drink didn’t taste like it had alcohol in it, he told us that since we had already sipped it, we still had to pay for it. There was no apology at any point. That said, the manager was very kind and handled the situation well. She discounted our food and gave us a shot of vodka to make up for the drink, which we truly appreciated. The patio area is cute and has a great atmosphere. I would recommend the place overall, but I would not recommend having Sam as your server.

Went here to have dinner and watch canes game. It was okay, we were sat in what could be considered the lobby, no physical menus, but QR code (all low key, fine things). Still okay, ordered two burgers, one with fries and other with chips. One was a cheeseburger (cheese only). That burger was swapped with a diablo—so jalapeños, onions and cheese for someone that doesn’t like spicy foods it was pretty shocking to bite into a jalapeño. Fries seemed like they’d been cooked earlier and had that grainy old texture. Waiter was inattentive and more focused on socializing at the bar than getting us a check. She offered us a discount for the burger ($2). Wasn’t what we wanted/hoped for and won’t be back. We were excited for a local spot to watch games, this won’t be it.

The wings that were advertised were not the wings that I got. I got one flat and the rest were all drums, which I do not mind too much… but they were so stingy with the ranch for so many wings.

Tried this place one last time. This is their Philadelphia Chicken Cheesesteak as it was delivered to my table. Any amateur can make a better one than that effort. Sad because I want to support local but can’t when Arby’s probably would do a better job. The pub wings were ok.
