My Dogs Spaw

I had an appointment for my dog scheduled at 10:00 a.m., and I was told the grooming would take about three hours, with pickup around 1:00 p.m. I waited until 2:00 p.m. before coming to the shop, but at that point I had not received any update or communication. When I arrived, I was informed that my dog was being described as aggressive, that the wash took longer than expected, and that she had bitten an employee when being checked on in the kennel. This was the first time I was made aware of any issues. I had to come inside to ask for an update rather than being contacted by staff. Given the delay and lack of communication, I decided to pay for the services already rendered and not wait any longer for the haircut portion. When my dog was brought out, she was calm and friendly with the front desk employee, which left me confused about the situation and the characterization of her behavior. I understand that grooming can be unpredictable and that safety is important, but clearer and more timely communication would have made a big difference in this experience. Being informed earlier would have helped set expectations and allowed me to make decisions sooner.

These ladies are awesome grooming and handling my dog. He is a big baby, terrified about getting washed and clipped. He also fights to not be touched on his face and feet. They always do a great job! Adding a before and after shot.

This location gave me the best first expression and experience the staff are super nice and helpful i couldn’t ask for anything better I never took both my dogs to the groomers this was the first time ever for me and I could say I’ll be back again the pricing is great my two small dogs were given back to me in even better condition they had both of them looking really cute and smelling really clean and one of my two dogs has anxiety but when I went to pick them up she was as calm as she is with me and I really loved seeing her calm that just says a lot about how great the staff is and how good they treat your pets so safe to say I can trust them and will be back again !!!

Took in my two Alaskan Malamutes today for a grooming. It was our first time, both my husband and I were so impressed with how they came out! We have double coated dogs with very dense fur and they left them looking absolutely gorgeous! The staff was very sweet to my pups which is super important to me. When I got back both my dogs were calm and happy which tells me they were treated well! We will be continuing to use My Dogs Spaw!

First time here, and in fact, first time grooming my dog. They took the time to explain all that was involved over the phone. They were even able to take him in the same day! They were honest in telling me that my dog was nervous/scared, and they tried different ways to cut his hair...clippers and scissors - depending on what he was comfortable with. I appreciated that. PLUS, they had a cute photo op setup that was Easter themed. Though he was too distracted, it was a cute idea for customers. 🥰 We love his transformation! He looks like a new breed! The kids didn't even recognize him when we brought him home! 😂
