(from Google)Ok mountain bike trail… best part was the possibility of having to dodge a rattlesnake or two. They could put more money into mountain Bike parks in this reason of the country to attract people to increase the tax.
The trail head was pretty easy to find. The trail itself might be better to do on a bike then on foot - between the signs it's pretty straight and flat, without many trees or shade. The trail does connect to some other trails that go around some of the neighborhoods, which are a bit more fun/interesting for pedestrians.
While I will say I don't like public restrooms to begin with, the male restrooms was a total mess. But the trail look so nice, it goes on for so long, with nice views of the outdoors.
THE MOST AMAZING PARK in the city. Been running here for over a decade. Good spot.
I love walking along this trail. I do it at different times of the day. It is safe and relatively well lit. But like anywhere, apply your sunscreen/insect repellant, depending on the time of day and take pepper spray. Be safe and enjoy the view and the screeching parrots.
