NO DO NOT GO. I Wouldn’t recommend. The potatoes were sooo bland and chalky that no amount of salt and pepper made them edible. The biscuits and gravy were bad, it wasn’t even a biscuit, and the gravy had a weird flavor about it. The ham steak was really fatty and couldn’t be chewed. The prices are way too high for what is being sold. $32 for two plates. NO THANKS

Small local diner with a great breakfast, loved their pancakes. Food servers ard super friendly and efficient, always great service. Visit these local diners instead of the Denny's, IHOP'S corporate types with their subpar food. Support the local small business types instead.

This was our first time here and we all enjoyed our food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff is so friendly and the decor great. We will be returning soon, can’t wait to bring more friends. It is a bit small so come early.

While back in SD visiting friends we were looking for a breakfast spot and the Lunch Box came highly recommended. When we arrived parking was tight with limited spaces but we found a spot on the street with no problem. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. Our server came over promptly and started our order right away. Our food came out fast and was hot and to order. Everything was good and tasted great. Overall the restaurant was clean , the service was good and the food was good as well. It wasn't loud and the atmosphere was great. We were very pleased with everything and will definitely return when we are back in town.
