Sit n stay academy is great, they have had our cane corso for a week so far and you can tell the difference is night and day. At 5 mo there is no puppy jumping or craziness. The trainers have personally invested in his training as if he is thier dog. I truly believe they take special interest in all the families they help.

It’s our second day back after the board and train program with my puppy Pepper and let me just say, I cannot thank Sit N Stay enough! He is a brand new pup. Pepper ended up staying a bit longer than we thought but I think that shows the care Sit N Stay had for him. They knew when he was ready and more importantly, when I was ready. Learning the commands and attitude as a dog owner is just as important as the dog learning their commands. It may seem rigid at times but I can confidently say the behavior they have instilled in him reminded us why we are so excited and thankful to have our pup in our lives. You will work with Sit N Stay for a long time and that’s a blessing because I know going to weekly sessions after the take home period is going to help us stay on track. All the trainers are great and knowledgeable. But our trainer at the end of his program, Danielle, was so helpful and guided me and my mom on the dos and don’ts of our new routine with him. She is AMAZING. This service is worth every penny but make sure you put in the work just as much as your dog or else you will not have the same experience. Follow their guidelines, practice with your dog, and Sit N Stay will instill a foundation in your dog that will change your life!

Sit and Stay Dog Academy is the best of the best. I’ve known them for over a decade, and they’ve trained my dogs in the past—never once have they disappointed. This is a top-notch operation with countless years of experience. They’re disciplined, dedicated, and take training seriously. It’s all or nothing, and nothing gets overlooked—that’s what sets these dogs up for real success. While no dog is perfect and anything can happen, they give you and your dog the tools to succeed like no one else can. Alexis is one of the best trainers I’ve ever met—not just because she’s amazing at what she does, but because she genuinely loves animals in a way that’s rare to see. If you want the best, this is where you go.

I highly recommend Sit n Stay Dog Academy if you’re looking for a confident and obedient dog. They also provide convenient boarding, daycare and grooming services, all of which I recommend too! We took our standard poodle puppy, Lulu, for an assessment as we aspired for her to be a service dog, but she was exhibiting stubbornness, anxiety, and dependency on me, as a young puppy (traits that would never qualify as a service dog). Clarke explained why she was behaving like that and what they could do for us — he also told me something that I hadn’t appreciated — the work with the dog is actually the easy part, it’s the training of the human that is the hard and time consuming part! As I have a nurturing personality, it was hard to have my puppy in boarding for 3 weeks, but it was the best decision I ever made. When we visited Lulu, she was prancing with confidence and oozing obedience. She was also the exact same goofy, sweet and loving dog that she had always been — just better behaved! After a few classes while she was boarding, we brought home an immaculately confident and beautifully groomed puppy (highly recommend their grooming services too). Clarke came for a home visit shortly after we brought her back, and helped us establish the right routine at home for Lulu (Standard Poodles are highly intelligent, so believe me when I say she tried to go back to her ‘old ways’ when she was in her old environment). We were encouraged to attend the multiple class options they offer per week and although Lulu is only 6 months old, she is always complimented on how well behaved and confident she is. Whilst I’d say that their training with Lulu was complete within a few weeks, the team is super patient with their weekly training of ME. What I love about the program is that their package includes unlimited group classes and home visits (and even redoing the boarding training if needed). This allows me to ensure I am held accountable for Lulu’s obedience and confidence, and can always call or text if I need advice on anything regarding Lulu’s behaviour.

Cannot thank Sit N Stay enough for all they’ve done for me and my German Shepherd! Don’t let any bad reviews fool you, dog training takes patience and dedication. the staff here and the trainers are amazing and their ability to train dogs speaks for itself. I use a wheelchair to get around and my dog now walks by my side flawlessly without pulling & watches my every move. i am amazed at the progress my dog has made in a year and a half and am so thankful to be apart of the Sit n Stay family!!
