I went to the free turkey give away. Expecting at least 1,000 people to attend in hopes of a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. The event was scheduled for 9am to 11:00am set up as a drive thru for pick up. I decided to arrive early to be first in line. I am 13 miles and 23 minutes according to Google maps. Following the directions to the venue and I run into APD and road closure barriers where Googles says to turn. OMG, the polite officer says you need to go around the block and get in at the end of the line. Of course I did, I figured it couldn’t be that long of a line it was 7:40 and I was early. Well, I was wrong but I knew no way 1,000 people were in line so I joined the hopeful and waited. I want to applaud everyone involved in organizing this event. It was orchestrated precisely as planned. From the officers directing participants, to the constables getting participants in line for the harmonious dance that took place. Everyone in rhythm to the volunteers waving there race flags directing your group of 8-10 cars simultaneously loaded with Thanksgiving dinner and everyone reeked of gratitude and smiles were seen for miles. This Thanksgiving will be at our house served with the memory of the gracious people that made it happen. Thank you from the bottom of our heart

Awesome forts to climb on. Lots of places to sit between benches and picnic tables. Zip line was the best!!! My kiddo loved it! Looks like the have walking path with workout equipment. Biggest draw back when we went was litter...face mask, plastic bottles and utensils, napkins.etc. still a great place. I just people were not so inconsiderate and use the trash/recycling cans that are there and not overflowing.

Absolutely one of the BEST free public playground/parks I've ever been to. Just magnificent. If you need a pit-stop from highway driving it's only a 5 minute detour! Very short hiking trails, zip-line, outdoor workout sets, large playground, small playground, large open-field!

This park has gotten better. I grew up in this area and the new playground they have is great! My daughter loves it and I love bringing her here. Great for jogging exercising while the kids play. You can bring your animals and your family for picnics. I am very happy with the renovations they have put in it.
