Ranch Trail #62

Fun easy trail for me and my dog.

Plenty of spots at the trailhead. Bathroom near by. Good gradual climb to get you some elevation. Like a sign says, be on the look out for blind corners because serious injuries have occurred. The speed you can get coming down would make it difficult to stop, especially in the loose dirt right now. Overall, I biked to the highest elevation in the trail then turned around and came back down badger. Had to come back via the highway but that was pretty easy.

Great trail for a couple of beginners on yard sale 15 or 18 speed bikes. Shade, views, single tracking switchbacks. Two families encountered. Young teens looked happy with the speed and challenge. We putted along and took in the views of the mountains and Prescott. Start on the north end! Longer downhill ride. Spandex not required though often encountered. Minor rocky parts. Great sunny spots to have your snacks.

I like to mountain bike on this trail I can do an out and back or make a loop out of it. It's not technical mostly fast and flowy and you climb as much as you descend but that's what's it's all about. This is a multi use trail so be careful around those tight corners hiker's and horse's use the trail also. I only have a couple of pictures to busy riding. Enjoy

Loved, loved, loved this trail. Moderate climb and super fun, not too technical downhill with few stumps and rocks. Super smooth and flowy!!!
