(from Google)Access only on way from east bay to north bay. Nice park on the water. Beach is ok, may be muddy at times. Decent amount of parking. Apparent discontent by regulars about activities occurring after dark.
Cute little park. Not a lot of area to walk around, I didn’t get down to the bench but there were people sunbathing there. Volunteers doing workshops and singing, it is a nice view, good place for a picnic or a bbq , not really somewhere to do a long walk and take your dogs
I recently moved to Richmond so I’ve been trying to check out the local open spaces in the area. I was very confused by this park, there isn’t even a way to get down to the actual beach, and the park itself was very small. I feel bad for being brutally honest because I saw a few volunteers there trying to contribute their time to a good cause… do yourself a favor and find another beach to go to.
Great isolated quiet bay front beach to explore. Gorgeous views of the Richmond San Rafael bridge, Mt. Tamalpais, and Marin County. Unfortunately, the parking lot is littered with trash, the weeds are overgrown in the picnic area, and the picnic area is usually crowded with people partying and drinking. But if you're looking for a quiet beach away from the crowds to relax on, this is the place.
Beautiful, quiet beach. Find sea glass at low tide. Have a beautiful view of the bridge while you eat at picnic tables. Abundant free parking. Look up to see Hawk nests. Be alert in parking lot area.
