We have had such a great experience working with Makayla at East Bay Dog Spot. The private training has been exactly what we were looking for to raise our Westie puppy to be a well mannered companion. From the very first session, Makayla demonstrated exceptional patience and professionalism. The surprising part of this experience was that we were trained to work with our dog Sachi. We were given the priceless gift of being able to help our dog be more obedient, confident, and secure in her environment. Every technique was explained thoroughly, and we always felt supported and encouraged to ask questions or express concerns. Cannot recommend East Bay and Makayla enough!! This was one of the best decisions we have made. Our home training has been a game changer. Makayla is so wonderful with dogs and the owners who are also learning. We saw immediate improvements and felt set up for success in every way from her lessons. By week three our 6 month old lab was so calm when we had visitors I was worried she wasn’t feeling well if that tells you anything! Truly didn’t want our sessions to end. So thankful for her help and can’t wait to continue with group lessons!

Makayla and East Bay Dog Spot is the BEST!! We have the cutest Cockapoo Caarrl and we needed help. We signed up for individual training with me, my wife Tara and Makayla to start. Makayla trained us cause we were lost. Then step 2 was group training (puppy basics) with 5 other dogs. Super helpful too. Caarrl has made big progress and so have we. 😃 Next step is “beyond the basics” which we just signed up for. I highly recommend East Bay and I highly recommend starting early and continuing.

PLEASE READ- I went to east bay dog spot back in 2020 to get my golden doodle puppy Bailey trained. I met with Kip Kirby (founder I believe), and immediately could tell the connection she had with animals. We did a 4-6week (I believe) private training course and boy did we see the effects. My husband and I recently got a new puppy and ALL I can think about is how absolutely AMAZING the training was for our now 5 year old golden doodle pup. Unfortunately we have moved from our hometown (gulf breeze) and now live in California. As I was looking for a new trainer for our new German shepherd mix puppy, I couldn’t stop thinking about Kip and how I wish we still lived there to go back and get our new puppy trained! Bailey is so well-mannered, listens so intently, and always responds when called. I am forever grateful for my experience with east bay dog spot and just HAD to recommend even after 5 YEARS!! This is an investment that absolutely will be worth it!
