(from Google)We cannot say enough good things about Dr. Laurie LeMonds and the entire team at Mountain West Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked in, we felt like our pets were truly cared for, not just seen. Dr. LeMonds is one of the most thorough and compassionate veterinarians we’ve ever met. You can immediately tell how much she genuinely loves what she does. She takes the time to explain everything in detail, answers every question without ever making you feel rushed, and makes sure you fully understand your pet’s care plan. That level of patience and passion is rare. She recently spayed and neutered our two Bengals, and the entire process was seamless and stress-free. She walked us through what to expect beforehand and followed up to make sure everything was healing perfectly. It honestly could not have gone smoother. Jay, the veterinary assistant, is just as kind and attentive. Every staff member we’ve interacted with has been warm, professional, and truly caring. You can tell this is a team that takes pride in what they do. We feel incredibly grateful to have found Mountain West Animal Hospital. They’ve earned our complete trust, and we won’t be taking our two cats or our two dogs anywhere else. If you’re looking for a vet who is knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely invested in your pets, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend.
Mountain West Animal Hospital has been our vet since the early 90’s. MWAH’s Dr. Bott & Dr. Davis have taken care of our pets and seen our family through many phases of dog care life for the past 30 years, often in emergencies. We have also seen the love and care of doctors and their staff when we have received difficult and heartbreaking news delivered with thoughtfulness and compassion. We have dealt with difficult diagnoses with care options for care, and when necessary have been referred to specialists who have coordinated care with Dr. Bott and Dr. Davis and ensured that our pet’s care was the utmost priority. Giving us encouragement, support and confidence in our medical plan and care going forward. We are grateful for Dr. Bott and Dr. Davis for their support and dedication in providing us as pet owners, the knowledge needed to be better informed pet owners and for caring as deeply for our pet children as we do.
We had to put our sweet dog down today and this vet’s office was absolutely amazing. They were so empathetic and kind and loving. I can’t recommend them enough.
We took our shots to Hobble Creek cny. And she drank from the stream., next night she was a limp biscuit. She had her shots but she got distemper! Dr. Davis told us to take her home ? Luv her lots then bring her back and he’d put her down for us. SCARRY she was so lump, but her eyes were so bright , I couldn’t do it. Isn’t any treatment available? It effected 3 areas , Honey’s was in the muscles, he said he would try, an antibiotic, muscle relief , and pain medicine . We took her home , fed her baby food meat out of an oral syringe, and water same way, . Took the next 2 weeks off and swaddled her kept her safe . Every day she got a wee stronger. She survived. I’m so greatful for his compassionate service, trying a mother treatment, over death. I’ve told the story twenty years, she lived until shy her 19th birthday. From 4 months old we were honored to have found this hospital. And my daughters bedn bringing her dogs, and all the bearded Dragon’s have been in too. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone, we lived next door to Chip & Susan Reynolds on Main/ moved to Eureka we don’t care the miles, we’d drive days if we needed help , or shots from any place. Folks come in with such tragic faces in their time of need, every one in the office is so kind to each patients family it’s like we were a small town vet, with Great Expectations never disappointed even on the days we were there to put one of our pets down, superior service. Golden Attitude Award for all
I’ve been meaning to post a review and finally getting around to it. The staff at Mountain West have been amazing for my two very needy dogs. I live in salt lake and it is worth the drive to have such care put into my two monsters. Dr Bott (and the other vet, don’t remember her name but she has my undying admiration) helped my younger dog through a really tough situation where he had to get his eye removed. He is unfazed and doing great and the care they gave him that day was amazing. If they accept new patients they should be your vet. I’ve never seen dogs be excited to go to the vet and mine run in there like it’s their best day. Thanks for all you’ve done for my pups! I appreciate all of you so much!
