We absolutely love this beach. Our dogs love it .Not very busy. We had a fantastic day.
Great parking, play, changing rooms, showers to wash the sand off and enclosed one showers for privacy, and pavilions! Bridge is very narrow and high with lots of steps up on both sides. Great beach access once you make it up and over. The steps and Bridge and design makes it difficult to navigate with people and beach chairs and other items let alone for those of us physically challenged is my reason for the low rating.
Love this beach in St Augustine!
Great free parking for beach access. Many spaces for cars right off the main road, along with a public restroom and outside shower area. The only problem with the toilets are the people using them, as one was horribly clogged one of the days we went. A walk across the bridge takes you right to a beautiful beach area that wasn't very crowded the June week we were there.
