Just picked up a very happy Mallard. Loved hearing that he did well, felt very comfortable leaving him here, and really great price, too. When we called to initially ask about the place they answered all our questions and made sure I got to see where he'd be staying when I came to drop him off. Thank you!!

My bully breed dog Panda (on the left) was boarded here! The staff was very nice and always communicate, never putting any hidden extra fees on the bill like some other facilities do. They even groomed my dog/trimmed his nails! I can see how some people can find the place sketchy if their not used to country settings but I can assure you that they are very reputable! Even better than name brand boarding facilities which can end up scamming customers. Also this a great chance to socialize your dog and get them used to kennel settings. Price is very reasonable and the pick up/drop off process is quick! Just make sure to leave them instructions and that everything you left them is with you at pickup! Thank you Hi-Crest! (Btw the owner is a reputable breeder and I recommend contacting the kennel if you’re looking for a wellbred dog!) Update 09/04/24: Great place with an affordable honest price! Dropoff and pickup is quick and easy. I have boarded my dog here since he was a puppy and he's always returned happy and healthy. In my opinion this is much better than expensive boarding places that overcharges you as well as vet boarding which in my experience constantly keeps the dog cooped up inside. With this boarding the dog is in a calm country side setting complete with both AC inside (or heat depending on the weather) and the option of relaxing in the outside kennels. 10/10!

I have been bringing my dog there whenever I need her to be boarded for the past 4 years and my best friend also brings her dogs when she's going out of town and I've had nothing but a great experience with them. I think it's sad how someone can call the place sketchy when they raise show dogs. they know what they're doing my dog is completely happy there she eats her food because normally she would get depressed when I'm away but she likes it there and I'm happy with and I'm happy with it.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARE FOR PETS. Both my sister in law and I were going to be out of the country for over a month, and after doing extensive research, I came across Hi Crest Kennels. I noticed it had great reviews and the price was quite affordable in comparison to other places. We both decided to leave our dogs there. She left the country before me so I dropped off both dogs. When I arrived to drop them off, one the employees greeted me very nicely, showed me the premises and told me where to drop off the food and toys I had brought for both of them. We specify that for play time, they could be let loose to play together since they get along and she assured me that they will get to spend time together. I dropped them off on Feb 7th 2019, on the 19th I sent them an email to check on the dogs after calling multiple times (they never pick up the phone!!!!, even on the times they say they do, they don't). Never got an email back.... When my sister in law arrived in the country, she went to pick them up and was told that my dog had contracted parasites, which is not even why I am upset about, it's a kennel, other dogs are there, things happen, whatever. What I am mad about is the fact that if they noticed that the dog contracted something, why didn't they reach out to the emergency contact that we provided and asked what to do. Our emergency contact could have picked up the dog, taken it to the vet to get treated and then drop it off back at the kennel. That could have been the best approach, instead of having someone else's dog feeling sick and having diarrhea for God knows how long on their premises. How can you have a sick dog that someone is paying you to care for and not reach out to anyone???? Mind blowing to be honest. I guess next time I will have to spend those $10 extra dollars a day and leave him at a kennel that I can actually get in touch with and get regular updates on how the dog is doing.
