We rescued a dog that was estimated to be about 2-2.5 years old. She was a maniac. Pulled, growled and lunged at every dog she saw. She now is off leash 99% of the time and behaves beautifully. She, now, "gently" reacts to other dogs. Sandy and her crew are great at helping you and your dog really get to know and enjoy each other.

We took our dog Isa to Sit Means Sit dog Training for 10 days. Yaira was her trainer. Isa came home a different dog. She listens her commands, which was the mean problem for her. Sandy and her team worked very well with her. Isa enjoys going to her group training 3 times a week. We were very satisfied and glad we found this beautiful and clean dog training place. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit Dog Training. Thank you.

I’ve been taking my 14lb miniature Australian Shepherd, Murphy, to Sit Means Sit for three full months now. I was already so impressed with what he learned after just the initial four intensive days, but after three months of consistent weekly classes, I am incredibly proud of how far he has come. That being said, obedience training isn’t a quick fix/task, it also requires practice at home and ongoing reinforcement through weekly classes. The entire staff is so welcoming and supportive. What I appreciate most is that they understand every dog & owner each come in for different reasons, and that each dog will have their own moments in class along the way. The staff never shames you; instead, they work with you and coach you through even the toughest obstacles with patience and encouragement. I cannot recommend Sit Means Sit enough—they are truly the best.

It was a big expense but we got back a whole different puppy and we learned as a family how to train her. I know feel I’m able to communicate with my dog which has only strengthened our relationship. It’s helpful to have a guide. Sandy runs a tight ship that’s dependable and fair.

Sandy, Carolyn, and the team are incredible. My husband and I adopted a 2 yr. Old malinois that needs a lot of “work time”. Before we started training, our dog was really reactive and impossible to walk. Sit means sit has made our life with him so much better. We loved not only the four day intensive workshop, but the on-going weekly classes have been a game-changer. We were nervous about the investment when we started, and would 100% spend the money again. We can now walk our dog on or off- leash with lots of distractions near by, and have no reactivity issues. We feel equipped to not only give our dog what he needs, but feel confident taking him to public spaces and on long hikes. We will never go to another trainer, we’ve found our people.
