(from Google)What a beautiful place! Get there earlier so you can find parking! My family and I really enjoyed the warm and clear water. We took some surf boards so the kids could float on the water, no waves, calm water perfect for small children.
Super rough waves. Maybe we came on a bad day, but the waves were strong and very high. We saw a couple of people struggling in the water. Some people were surfing, but it definitely wasn’t a good day for snorkeling. The wind even blew a few umbrellas away. There is public parking, but not many spots available. There are vendors nearby selling pinchos, empanadas, pizza, and piña coladas. Umbrellas and chairs are also available for rent.
Contrary to the popular opinion of Crash Boat Beach, we found it be very overcrowded compared to other beaches along the western and northern shore. The word is definitely out! Don’t get me wrong, the sand and water is beautiful. If you are looking for a festive beach experience with others, then this is the place for you!
It is cool beach for snorkeling and watching sunset. They have parking but it is full, so you may need to park on the side of the street like many people do. They have tasty and pretty cocktails, like piña colada in pineapple ($15).
Love this beach!!! Just wish the bathrooms were open. I have been coming here for years and no bathrooms. Beach is clean just watch the bacteria levels at certain times of year. Also pay attention to the signs, if it is a red flag there is a reason. I live jumping off the pier and even walking down it and seeing the fish.
