We are so thankful that we finally decided to enroll our dog with Sit Means Sit Dog Training! Our dog has always been super smart and interested in learning, but S.M.S.D.T gave her and us a stronger foundation that she deserves. The entire staff is so awesome, but we had a very focused experience with Josh and can't thank him enough for his patience and expertise with Bijou. You guys rock! Thank you!

We can’t say enough good things about the team at Sit Means Sit. From day one, they’ve been knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in our dog’s success. Our pup loves going to class — he actually knows he’s headed to “school” when we turn right out of our neighborhood! We’re so happy with the progress our boy has made. The growth in his focus, responsiveness, and confidence has been amazing to see. We’re incredibly grateful for the time and care the Sit Means Sit team has poured into him!

I’m so happy I chose Sit Means Sit to train my Frankie. Josh is truly the best and I couldn’t have asked for a more understanding and loving, yet firm and leading trainer. Not only do I see Frankie transform into a more confident and listening dog when I pick him up from his day training, but im noticing so much improvement in our at home lessons and with his confidence in general, which helps us both have a better quality of life. Josh provides a lot of structure in both Frankie’s life and my life as Frankie’s mama, and im seriously so grateful that we have that. I really appreciate the flexibility, resources, patience and attentiveness. I also appreciate everyone else there who welcomes us in the morning and rotates throughout the day. Coming from the most protective, anxious-attachment frenchie mama in this whole world, I would choose Sit Means Sit every time. I go into each week with more confidence in my Frankie and our lessons together and I’m really looking forward to our group classes!!!

Nemo has attended the All Star Puppy class and also the hybrid board & training. He also does the enrichment classes once a week. Nemo is very impulsive and needs very structured training. Sit means Sit has done a phenomenal job in training Nemo. The staff is very knowledgeable and supportive in training me to work with him at home.

Reading some of the negative reviews about e-collars can definitely be intimidating, but not every training method is right for every dog—and that’s exactly why I’m so glad we chose this place. We brought both of our dogs in for a consultation with Austin, and instead of pushing us into an expensive “both dogs need board-and-train” situation like other places did, he was completely honest. He recommended that only our boy needed the hybrid board-and-train and that we could use what we learned with him to help our girl at home. That alone showed us they weren’t just in it for a quick money grab. Yes, the price is on the higher side, but when you actually break it down, the value is incredible. The package is $3,150, and it includes six months of group classes for free after the two-week hybrid board-and-train. There is also payment plan options. Over those two weeks, your dog is working with trainers five days a week, eight hours a day. When you divide the cost, it comes out to about $39 an hour—and that’s without using the 6 months of free classes. Other training programs I looked into were charging $100+ an hour. So while the upfront price is steep, you truly get what you pay for. One thing I really appreciated is that they send photos and videos every single day, which made it so much easier being away from our boy and let us see his progress in real time. Drop-off was Monday and pick-up was Friday both weeks, and after each week we had a training session with Kendall. She was absolutely amazing—so patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely treated our boy like her own. Now that we’ve started the skills-and-drills group classes with Josh, I’m even happier with our decision. Our first class was tough because our boy can be reactive, but Josh stayed patient, calm, and incredibly helpful. By the second class, it was a complete night-and-day difference. I honestly couldn’t recommend this training team more. They care, they’re transparent, and they deliver real results.
