Lovers’ Lane at the Presidio

Hiking to this trail is not too strenuous, with relatively moderate elevation. The views are exceptional. Hiking to this trail is invigorating, and the vistas it offers are breathtaking. I highly recommend this location and intend to return in the future.

As a photographer I always choose this location for what it represent and also for the analogy that with a lover life. The trail it's gorgeous, the trees are just in a perfect position. And it is a short one too.

Moderate elevation straight line trail built on a historical short cut used by US soldiers in the 19th century. The trail starts near the main parking area of Main Parade Lawn, extends south east all the way to the presidio gate at Presidio BLVD cross Pacific Ave. The trail is quite and full of shades, which makes it idea for hiker, runner and dog walker. Part of the trail can be narrow, but fortunately there are not many people even during weekend when I visited.

Beautiful path through eucalyptus trees—perfect for relaxing, breathing deeply, and finding some calm. It also connects directly to Presidio.

I went here to take engagement photos of my fiancé and myself. I'm a photographer so I was able to get the photos done myself. All with a tripod of course. It's very nice and pleasant, and only envy the people who literally live right next to this place. Next time swing by and get some photos taken if your a photographer. Or even anyone who wants a nice background for your phone.
