We had to take our sweet cat Milo in to be put down as he was dying from his cancer and was in grave distress. The staff here were wonderful and very compassionate. They explained what was happening to Milo and went through the process and let us take our time to say our goodbyes. They gave us a lovely paw print and a glass tube with his hair it for us to keep. This was extremely hard for my daughter but OC Emergency Clinic made us feel better about the process and allowed us to take as much time as we needed this made this difficult situation easier on us. I highly recommend them for anyones pet in need.

She’s finally home after one night of hospitalization, two nights of emergency care. Thank you so much to Orange County Emergency Pet Clinic for doing a great care to my Lucy. She’s definitely feeling a lot better now than the past two days. Acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis should always be recognized and treated immediately. It was a great call to get her to emergency vet twice. She’s on her road to recovery now and hopefully no further complications. Thanks again to the wonderful doctors and staff.

I had a terrifying experience when my 8-month-old puppy accidentally ingested an eraser along with some unknown medication. She suddenly started staggering, panting heavily, and acting very strangely. I was panicked, but a veterinarian friend immediately recommended I take her to Orange County Emergency Pet Clinic. From the moment we walked in, the staff was exceptionally kind and professional. They took her in immediately for emergency treatment with no wait time, which was a huge relief. The doctor was fantastic—he took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped calm my nerves. After receiving activated charcoal and a Flumazenil injection, she showed incredible improvement within just a few hours. She is already back to her happy self, eating well and wagging her tail again. I am so grateful for their quick action and expertise. If you are in the OC area and find yourself in a scary situation with your pet, this is the place to go!

My 8-month-old cat had watery diarrhea for five days, and things got worse on Christmas Eve. At first, I thought it might be parasites, so I took him to another emergency hospital in the morning. The doctor there found foreign objects in his lower stomach and recommended surgery right away. I asked if there was a chance they could pass on their own, but with the limitations of the ultrasound, they said it was hard to tell. Since my cat’s vitals and bloodwork were good, they gave me the option to take him home and watch him for a few days. Once we got home, I noticed my cat kept trying to sleep but couldn’t, and that really worried me. I realized I couldn’t wait any longer. Since it was Christmas Eve, Orange County Emergency was the only place still open in the night. From the moment I talked to the receptionist, I could feel how much they care about animals. Their online waitlist, showing estimated wait times, was a huge relief—unlike other emergency hospitals where you’re left guessing when you’ll get seen. Little details really stood out too, like playing Home Alone in the lobby, which helped ease my anxiety. The other hospital usually just plays music that made me feel more stressed. Even though the waitlist said over 100 minutes, I got to see a vet within about 10 minutes, especially since I brought all the diagnostics from the previous hospital. I was impressed at how efficiently they prioritize real emergencies, even on Christmas Eve. Dr. Adan Rivera quickly reviewed my cat’s diagnosis (I think right after finishing another surgery) and clearly explained the surgical plan and potential risks, which he emphasized were low. His confidence, clarity, and calm demeanor really put me at ease. In the past, I often had lots of follow-up questions after emergency visits, but after talking with Dr. Rivera, I felt fully informed and reassured. I left my cat in their care and was able to bring him home early the morning after Christmas. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Rivera successfully removed all the foreign objects—things my cat had swallowed about four months earlier when he was a tiny kitten—and even showed them to me. Both he and another doctor gave thorough updates before discharge. I’m so grateful for the care and support my cat received here. Surprisingly, the cost was also much more reasonable compared to the previous emergency hospital I used. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every staff member treated animals with genuine compassion. I felt relief, warmth, and trust throughout the entire experience. They also had thoughtful little touches that stood out. A Christmas tree decorated with huge ornaments (probably so no pets could swallow them), and a self-service coffee bar, free for worried and exhausted pet owners. It’s clear they truly care about both animals and their humans. I’m forever thankful to this team for saving my cat’s life—especially during the holidays when they were the only emergency hospital I could rely on. I highly recommend them!

This Emergency Pet Hospital is amazing, the staff are very professional, they are open late and they take care of your animal with so much care. They understand that you are coming to them in a time of stress and urgency, they ensure your animal is well taken care of. The price here is industry standard and they seem better than my own vet with knowledge of the animals. I brought my Dog in for some care and they were able to see my dog right away. I would definitely bring my pet back here in the future, though I do hope I do not need to.
