Kincheloe Low Cost Spay/Neuter

Waiting for the door to open at 8:00 am standing in freezing temperatures and rain....the feeling of helping an animal in need and getting low cost vet care keeps me coming back... I've had several feral cats taken there under their TNR program. Worked out well. No issues, except one but that was bound to happen sooner or later. I brought in a kitten for neutering. When he came home, he stopped eating. No vomiting or other obvious signs of illness and other than losing weight fast, you couldn't tell he was sick. No infection at the incision. Kincheloe refused to see him because they are only responsible for treating an infection at the surgical incision. I had to force feed him water and baby food for a few days but it wasn't enough. After visiting a local vet, their diagnosis was inflammation of the intestines likely due to a reaction to general anesthesia or the many vaccines given at the time. After IV fluids and cerenia, he's eating much better now. I realize now that Kincheloe is a conveyor belt of spaying and neutering animals. Not that it's a bad thing, but they make it clear they do not offer services beyond that.

Great staff that truly cares about the animals and doing as much as they can for them and the community. They saved me $800 from what my regular vet quoted for neutering my new kitten, all necessary testing, vaccinations, ear cleaning and nail trim. They are also doing as much as they can for the feral cat communities. I highly recommend them.

Dropped my foster dog off to be neutered this morning. There were dozens of dropoffs but the staff handled it professionally and in an orderly fashion. This is my first experience with them but I've heard nothing but good things.

Will be using them for all my spay and neuter needs. They also do low cost vaccines ! They answer very quickly via email. My babies are 10 days post surgery and my boy healed completely within 8 days, my girl is still healing a bit but looks very good. Highly recommend.

I cannot day enough about this clinic. They are incredible. They make being a crazy cat lady affordable. The three cats I've rescued they took such great care of. I can't say enough good things about every single person who works there If you have a few extra dollars consider donating. They are an asset to the entire community.
