Barking Bonds Dog Training and Boarding

Olivia the owner and trainer at Barking Bonds is absolutely an awesome dog trainer. I have a young 90lb German shepherd who I really did not know how to handle. Olivia worked with him and with me and in no time we were figuring it out It's amazing how knowledgeable she is. In no time I had more confidence and skills to handle my pup. He responded and learned so much from her. I will be forever grateful for her help.

We have used Olivia for both training and boarding of our Golden Retriever. She is absolutely amazing. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. She was patient and positive with both our dog and us during training and the results were outstanding. We have used her several times for boarding and my dog loves being there. She can hardly wait to jump out of the car and greet Olivia. Olivia provides so much enrichment during Moqui's stays, that I am confident that she has a wonderful time. I would not leave our dog with anyone else

Olivia was GREAT with our greyhounds. One needed training much more than the other but they both received guidance and attention. My dog Poe received 15 sessions from her ranging from walking on a leash to agility & bonding - we covered a lot! I feel much more confident moving forward and have noticed a huge improvement in Poe since I got him. He’s a smart boy that tests my patience sometimes, but using the things Olivia taught me, I can meet him on the same level and set him up for success. We have also boarded both boys with Olivia and they LOVE it. Her large fenced yard gives them plenty of room to run and they seem very comfortable in her home & around other dogs. She also sends lots of pictures and videos showing what they’re up to! Would highly recommend Olivia for both training & boarding.

We had been searching for a trainer to help us with our very anxious rescue dog . We wanted to take her more places because she has a lot of energy and wants to be around people. However, we were nervous on walks and didn’t dare take her to the park because she was afraid of other dogs and so she would bark at them. It was very stressful. Now we are able to take our dog to the park and she can run and play without being so anxious. Which makes outings fun for all of us . And she loves it!! Upon meeting Olivia we found some ways that our other dog needed improvement and she has worked with her as well. They love training… Olivia is very kind and listens to your concerns, taking time to reflect, get to know and come up with a plan for each dog. She is a magnificent person and I recommended her to anyone who is having issues with their dogs.

Olivia and Barking Bonds Dog Training is hands down THE best dog service in the state of Colorado. There is literally no one else I would trust with this process! Olivia is incredibly thoughtful, personable, and intentional with every step of training. She took the time to get to know me, my pup, and our goals. When we started this journey my Hermione was a very crazy and wild pup! We have made great strides with Hermione and with myself as a dog mom. One of my biggest goals was to be able to take Hermione into public spaces and on hikes- every step of the training process with Olivia has helped us work towards this goal. The best part is that we didn't just do training inside our home- we adventured to parks, stores, and around the neighborhood to get real world experience. And- not to mention Olivia is a genuine, kind, fun person to be around! Every training was fun, AND informative. Hermione and I 10/10 recommend her!
