(from Google)Very nice setting. Outdoor fire with plants surrounding. Heaters inside patio area with gently music and perfect lighting. Food was excellent. Pancakes and fried chicken was yummmie and burger with egg finished. Fresh squeezed OJ was indeed. I believe the maple syrup is real - don’t ask. Will be back.
Local cafe offering breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating. Music played while dining is for all cultures. Servers are friendly and the food portions are large! I ordered the pancakes and crispy fried chicken with bacon and potatoes on a weekday around 930am. The pancakes were sweet, even without syrup. The bacon is perfect. The chicken was different. I’ve never seen pancakes served with fried chicken or a fried chicken breast-strip (?? See photos) I asked the waiter for fried potatoes as I did not want the traditional breakfasts potatoes or the hash browns. The fried potatoes were perfect! For my beverage, I ordered their Hershey’s Hot Chocolate with oat milk. It was perfect and kept me warm. We were seated out on the patio and it was chilly even with the heat warmers on the patio. My meal was roughly $35, which isn’t bad for how much food was served (and was able to take some home). The only improvements I can suggest are to lower the music out on the patio, it was hard to have a conversation at times. Also, servers check on the table a little more. Otherwise, I look forward to visiting again.
Great atmosphere, the staff is so polite and the food was amazing. They played good music, the vibe was nice and there wasn’t a long wait for our food. The price was reasonable for such good food, food portions & service. The woman who was training while taking our order was very attentive and made sure we had no issues with modifications and even recommended my fiancé’s new favorite beer! Definitely recommend & we will be back!
Since I was in Sactown anyway I thought I'd swing by my palét Varray Átrocious the owner of the lady's Waxitorium, the Bald Beaver there on 9th street, and passed right by the Meet & Eat restaurant on the way to her shop. Well, it was right between breakfast and lunch, and Varray didn't have her next client for an hour and a half we decided to go have breakfast at Meet & Eat..and Man-O-Man was it amazing! The food was Spectacular and huge by anyone's standards. 5 stars for sure! ☆☆☆☆☆
This was my first time at Meet and Eat. It had been recommended by family. I didn't realize that it was past Sacramento City College but the trip didn't take long. The service was good and relatively fast. The food was good. I had the the honey Saraicha chicken wings and it had a a Zing to it. Delicious! I will definitely go again and try something else. Also, we ate inside with the air conditioning, but the outside seemed pretty popular.
