(from Google)My appointment was canceled three separate times, which was extremely frustrating and inconvenient. What made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism from the front desk. Instead of providing helpful information or working toward a solution, I was talked over and dismissed. The staff seemed more interested in explaining away the issue than listening to my concerns. What stood out most was the lack of accountability. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or offering a sincere apology, the conversation was if the blame was being subtly shifted onto me. “You gave me the wrong number” “You canceled online” (I canceled & showed up 3 times really?) I booked online and in person. A little empathy, ownership of the situation, and a genuine effort to make things right would’ve gone a long way. Everyone makes mistakes, but how a business handles them matters. Unfortunately, the customer service I received left me feeling unheard and undervalued. I hope management takes steps to improve communication, accountability, and the overall patient experience.
My 12 year old American Pit Terrier has severe anxiety when going to the vet for her annual checkup; and even requires medication prior to help with her anxiety. She also has a unique heart situation. I hadn't been pleased with the vet we had been going to the last few years so after receiving a recommendation to the Pet Hospital at South Collins we gave it a try. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!!!! I could not have been happier with how Dr. Seitz and Andrea treated my girl! They were efficient but we didn't feel rushed; they were understanding and we didn't feel like a burden. They listened, provided suggestions and were just AMAZING with my girl putting this Dog Mama's nerves to rest. All of my girl's prescriptions were submitted the same day - not just to CVS but the Chewy pharmacy as well. The staff are friendly and helpful; and the entire facility was very nice and smelled great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I'm so happy we came here. Please support this business - they deserve it! My girl Ana approves 100%!
All went well with my pups. The staff and Dr's are very professional and friendly when I have been. Their appt times are easier to get in than my other vet which is closer but sometimes you just need a quicker appt for sudden problems.
We will be forever grateful for the services provided here. Everyone at this vet clinic are a blessing to my family. From Denise up front, to the patient/calming tech, and the wonderful veterinarian, we are so thankful. One of the most difficult days in our lives made comfortable and peaceful. My heart is less painful because of your office. Our little Chico deserved the best, and you all were the best. Thank you!
We found my baby, Parker, in a Walmart parking lot and took him to the Thrive Emergency Vet Clinic off 287. We found out that my baby had a chronic condition and deformities, so after receiving extensive care, they sent us to follow up with Dr. Seitz at the Pet Hospital at South Collins. We love Dr. Seitz because she has always handled Parker with care and taken our concerns seriously. The vet techs and assistants are kind and patient. The receptionist is extremely helpful. In our last visit, she pointed out the discount code for thrive emergency vet in case we needed to seek a higher level of care for Parker. I never feel pressured into extra diagnostics or procedures when we discuss the cost of care. The team always presents me with all of my options, including the option to only choose supportive care (fluids, diet changes, pain management, etc.). Parker is a thrive plus member which helps with cost as he is eligible for $0 exam fee, 10% off diagnostics, and other deals of services. We plan on switching our other four animals from Banfield to Thrive Plus and continuing care with Dr. Seitz. Update: I was able to move our follow up appointment to an earlier time. We want to thank the doctors and staff for helping us see the vet sooner. Parker’s doctor identified the root cause of his condition. Although it was not news I wanted to hear, I am grateful that he has an honest team. We have decided to manage his condition until he shows signs of suffering. We thank his team for their help.
