Fun little walking path along the creek, quiet, good area for a scenic walk, a family picnic, whatever you choose.

They have a new kayak entry and it is awesome! Wish it was wider but then maybe boats would try to back up in there. There were tons of people there! There is even a couple port-a-potties there!!! Very convenient! They need more parking very badly but I’m guessing they will eventually do that. If they just took $1 from everyone for parking, everyone would pay it and they could put a trash can and a parking lot. The trash was overflowing because it wasn’t a trash can. It was a closed barrel and people just put their trash on top. Gross, way to make a wonderful place nasty. Worth the trip from Portland Tn for sure! I will be back! Hopefully we can park trailers there by then.

I love finding these backroad water spots. Great secluded area near a corn field. Definitely a locals hangout. As we were leaving the fire department showed up

We had a blast kayaking. Great host, & the canoe rental company was very accommodating. We brought our own kayaks, but they shuttled us with a smile & great conversation. Thanks to the young & hard working group.

Nice peaceful place for a picnic. They need to add their little pavilion back. If the gate is closed just park and walk. Great kayak launch spot!
