It's a great little park, and there's a good little trail right behind it. I love to watch the ducks with my dog

It's a nice little neighborhood park, though the playground equipment is mostly plastic and so showing some wear and tear even though it's fairly new. There are picnic tables overlooking the pond and the restrooms are usually open during the day. I'd skip it if your kid is younger than (an adventurous) 3 or 4. I will say that the highest slide is about 10 ft tall and only accessible through a longish/narrow/steep tunnel, so I can imagine a smaller kid getting second thoughts up there and a parent not being able to get to them. I'm a somewhat athletic 5'9" and 165 lbs and it was an adventure for me to make it up. I wouldn't want to do it twice. I'm not sure what you'd do if you couldn't get up there, and no one else was around, then who could help. Call the fire department? Unfortunately, the little station that used to be next door looked inoperable, so it could be an ordeal. If you have an aversion to ducks or geese, then you probably want to skip this one, though I don't remember ever seeing one up on the playground. This is visiting two-three times a year over about 20 years since my oldest was born, though, so it is possible it happens.

Love this park and location. There is even a lake and ducks all around. However I believe this park was designed for older kids(5&up). The very top is forsure 15'+. The restrooms are closed in winter FYI.

I went there to visit the memorial to the victims of the 1979 Wichita Falls tornado. That was such a major event that I wanted to see the memorial. I was underwhelmed, but can understand it somewhat. The park was small and there wasn't much else to see from a tourist perspective, but it looks like a nice neighborhood park.

Great spot to fish with the kids or to just try out new bait ..haven't seen any big fish besides carp come out of here but lots of different vegitation to tray different baits on.
