Malcolm was awesome! 🤩 Great suggestions from him, and the menu's got a ton of options, including some rad vegan choices and some Caribbean twist! Only thing's the menu's has no modernization but that's a minor thing. Love that they're all about inclusivity - mocktail flights with optional booze added? Genius! BYOB-friendly or maybe they'll start serving drinks someday 😊.

I’ve come here a few times and the evolution of the menu is great. Consistently solid food! Our server Malcom was very accommodating. He was even able to get my daughter her eggs the exact way she wanted them. For a 6yo , that’s huge.

Hatch 44 has been our fave brunch place since we discovered it. We have brought family and friends to enjoy delicious food, amazing service and cozy atmosphere. Today our server Monty went over and beyond to make our experience an enjoyable one. We ordered the Birria Eggs-tra Special, Fiesta Bowl and Ube Pancakes. For drinks, we had cappuccino, cinnamon latte and matcha latte. They taste as good as they look. We always enjoy this place and will keep on coming back.

This morning we finally visited hatch 44 cafe in Metuchen, New Jersey a place I’ve been meaning to try for over a year and I’m so glad we did. We arrived at just the right time before the rush, which made the experience even better. The ambiance is beautiful: very nicely decorated, bright, and spacious, with plenty of room to sit comfortably. We were seated right away, and the service was excellent from start to finish-friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We ordered a cappuccino and hot chocolate, and both were absolutely amazing (as you can see from the pictures). For food, we went with the Chicken Scoop-waffles with chicken-and the Fiesta Scramble Bowl. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and very filling. Honestly, from drinks to food, it was a grand slam across the board. There are lots of menu options, the quality is top-notch, and the staff truly makes the experience enjoyable. As we were getting ready to leave, the place started filling up quickly-clearly a very popular spot. I also loved the charm of the town of Metuchen and can’t wait to come back to try more dishes. Even more excited for their upcoming Ridgewood location, which will be a little closer to home. Highly recommend!

I recently had a girls’ day out, and we decided to visit Hatch 44, and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant is absolutely adorable and located in a great area, with convenient street parking as well as a nearby parking lot just a few steps away. As soon as we arrived, we were seated right away. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which set a great tone for our visit. The atmosphere inside was very cute, cozy, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed outing with friends. We were informed that we had an hour at our table, but we never felt rushed or pressured at all, so it worked out perfectly. The food was delicious, and the drinks were refreshing and well made. Everything we ordered was enjoyable. Our server, Reese, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Shout out to her for making our experience even better! Overall, I have nothing negative to say. I would absolutely recommend Hatch 44 and would definitely return again. It was a great experience from start to finish.
