Tommy was an amazing server he was sweet and attentive, not only was he able to quickly answer questions for us but he was on top of all of his tables. I absolutely loved being here not only the service but also food and drinks were AMAZING!!!

Coming from out of state to complete a mother-in-law hand-off at a halfway meeting spot, we immediately liked the facility. Really high ceiling with exposed beams and large fans, plenty of dining and bar space, with lots of room so you're not on top of each other when sitting or walking around. Restaurant and men's room were very clean, a HUGE compliment to the staff. Our server, if I remember correctly her name was Amelia, was sweet and competent, kudos to her. I built my own pizza, wife had wings with dry rub, 2 different sauces on the side, mother-in-law had the feta burger, brother-in-law had the shrimp tacos, which he said were delicious (according to our server, they were also her favorite dish as well). Mi suegra enjoyed her burger and fries. Wife liked the wings, she is not a fan of spicy/hot flavor so it was I who requested the two additional sauces: whisky and spicy garlic. Both were spicy, the garlic had more kick for sure, and both were delicious. My pizza was so-so. Not what I anticipated to say the least. Dough was thin and undercooked, they use canned mushrooms, and the overall flavor was kinda bland so I am glad I ordered those 2 sauces, they definitely enhanced the taste. We are from a suburb just northeast of Atlanta and my brother-in-law lives in Evansville, Indiana, hence the meeting halfway in Murfreesboro. Don't know if we'll ever return to The Goat, but if we do, I will not get the pizza. Overall, a positive experience, made even better because of Amelia.

“The Goat is such a beautiful spot elegant, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. I love the decor, especially for hanging out with friends. The outdoor fireplace adds a really nice touch, and the drinks are great. It’s definitely a wonderful place to spend time with friends or your partner.

This is a must go eat at. I love this place just for the name. As I plan my restaurant visits ahead when I travel this was my first pic and it did not disappoint with ambiance, service and food. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. As you can see I want to live in this neighborhood. I had the Borriello tacos and they were so good. I had planned to go back for dinner and wasn’t in town long enough. Overall this is a must try restaurant.

Came in on a Friday evening with a party of 5 and were seated right away. Lauren T was great and provided outstanding service. I got the Black Walnut Old Fashioned and it was perfect! For apps, we got the Buffalo Cauliflower and Boneless Wings (hot garlic and buffalo). Both were very good. We all ordered burgers for dinner, asking for medium rare and medium cook on them. None of them had any pink at all. Since I had ordered medium rare, Lauren offered to have them recook it. The second one came out slightly better, with very little pink, but was still delicious. My tablemates noted their well done burgers were dry. We would definitely give this place another shot, based on service alone. They have some happy hour specials and a cocktail menu (forgot to take a pic). Of note, this restaurant does NOT charge a 3% credit card fee, which seems to be a growing, and unwelcome, trend.
