(from Google)Finding the restaurant was a little tricky, the GPS was off by about 50 yards, but once we found it, it was worth it. Just note the photos online are taken during the day, and it looks quite different at night. They offer outdoor patio and indoor seating, we sat inside. Chairs were comfortable, and while a couple tables were slightly wobbly, the space was very clean and well organized. The menu has a great variety and our group ordered calamari, a sampler platter, seafood mofongo, shrimp carbonara, and mushrooms. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The sampler platter is highly recommended for sharing. The fish tasted fresh, and while the pork was slightly dry, it had excellent flavor with a nice crust. The rest of the platter was great. Calamari was delicious and tasted freshly battered. The mushrooms had good flavor but could have been cooked a bit more. The shrimp carbonara was a highlight, great homemade-tasting sauce, perfectly cooked rice, and perfectly cooked shrimp. We went late, so it wasn’t busy and we mostly had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
This restaurant has l lovely ambience. I had the seafood rice and have to say it’s one of the best rice dishes I’ve ever eaten. Their take on an Ild Fashion was pretty good too. Excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again!
Had an Amazing Birthday Lunch here! Awesome food, great friendly service, beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend!
Food was very delicious. Service was fantastic, very friendly staff. Drinks are pricey, they will add up if you get multiple rounds. Food is also pricey but definitely made it with love and care. A great date night spot for sure.
With so many great reviews we hoped for better than what we experienced. The atmosphere is good, but the food was disappointing. We had several apps. The thick fish soup was prob the better of the apps we tried, but mostly because the arañita was good. We also had the stuffed mushrooms and the sorullitos. The mushrooms had great presentation, but were bland. As for the sorullitos, was hoping for sweeter and slightly softer/fluffier on the inside. They were fine overall, but nothing to make them stand out from the countless places you can get that app on the island. For the pastas we had the chicken carbonara and the skirt steak. I only tried the skirt steak pasta and again, bland. The skirt steak within it was a bit tough and could have been seasoned better. My partner didn't mention why he didn't enjoy the carbonara, but we both basically ate the protein and left most of the pasta since it was not worth the calories. There was just an overall lack of flavor for most of the food. Don't know if it was an off night or what, but not worth coming back based on tonight.
