I filed a complaint against the doctor for not approving my dog's medication. I've been with Banfield since 2018. The routine hasn't changed for my dog as for medication and getting him checked. 1st, Dr. or her assistant of they haven't seen my dog since 2023, 2024 and 2025. I have proof and records which they can verify from this doctor they have seen my dog at this location. The Dr. seen my dog 03/2025. I request the same medicine. And this time, she refuse to sign off for the medicine, there is no reason. She kept giving me excuses like I don't want to risk my license for what.. what are you risking? that doesn't make any sense. Everything is right there is nothing wrong. Ins is paid you saw my dog, I haven't had anyone see my dog and I'm requesting for his 6 months Trifexis-Green. I called and filed a complaint to this location and Dr. I also, called customer service, they reviewed the account and yes, she was the last person to see my dog and yes she needs to approve the medicine. So I took this to the headquarter which they said they would talk to the Dr. to see what's wrong. Please note, Dr. wanted me to pay another fee of 85.00 to 95.00 to see my dog again.. I said no, I shouldn't have to. This needlessly. I take my do 1 (once) year with no problems only if he needs a vaccine with in 2 or 3 years expire. I ended up with Petco to get an approval for 25.00 with Banfield's information about my dog. Of course, they felt, what was the problem. The Dr. should of approve this, it was less then 5 months the vaccines were given 03/2025 and expire 03/2026. I had 1 pill left for him, I normally order this 1 or 2 months before. This time 1 pill left I didn't know i needed drama from this doctor.. when my dog doesn't see her 2 or 3 times a year.

I love everyone here at Banfield pet hospital. I’ve brought all three of my dogs here because I trust the experts here that take great care of all the patients that come in. All very well informed and educated on their tasks and very helpful staff members. Front desk, vet techs, assistants, vets you are all amazing people here!

Banfield has been a great experience for me and my two puppies. I purchased the puppi plus wellness program which was a great deal. They also performed my two dog's paying procedures and they came out great. Their new covid protocol where you drop them off and come back for them for vet visits was a bit dissapointing but understandable. Overall my experience has been fantastic with them!
